Earliest sighting of tricks thread.

Since I'm both bored and interested in what the combined knowledge of Slap can teach me, this thread is about the earliest appearance of certain tricks in photos/video (and probably plenty of folklore too). Feel free to add (preferably with a video/photo/sequence) and contest others knowledge.

I'll suggest only two since it's late o'clock.

Kickflip backside boardslide on a handrail in 1990 (Sal Barbier from the team ender part in H-Street's This is not the new H-Street Video)

Their '86 archives are up. 12/86: This is the first photograph of a (non-caveman) handrail boardslide, although Kop wasn't the first person to actually do it.

unrelated to the thread, but i read the rest of that interview and i thought this was pretty fucked:

Back when they were petitioning to make skating illegal in Waikiki, there was this TV crew, that wanted me to show them some some skateboarding, by saying they were doing a story on helping to build a skatepark. So I skated around Waikiki, and did shit off benches or whatever for them. Then, later I come to find out that they used this video of me on the evening news, petitioning how skateboarding should be outlawed in Waikiki. It was crazy. I don't know if that kind of stuff could happen today.

So sick, being from Hawaii of course I remember that Johnee ad well, he was definitely a gnarly dude in that era of jump ramps and streetplants.
There was an interview or something, can't remember where and they were asking O (the photographer) if Johnee indeed ollied to it or if it was caveman.
O seemed to hint that it was a caveman, and Johnee said it was definitely an ollie to boardslide, guess we'll never know for sure.

If you want to get into crazy combo shit I'd say all three 101 videos, Questionable, Virtual Reality, Love Child, and Smolik's part from Fulfill the Dream have the most tricks that had never been done before.

Natas has been credited as inventing that trick by several folks, but I think Lance got the first one on video.
