Under a tight deadline, Nate Alton and the guys at 510 skateshop got together with the Berkeley Skate Park crew to get Berkeley added as the second stop on Turf Global’s Northwest Tour. Though the area isn’t lacking in sightings of local legends, it has been a while since an organized demo has come to the East Bay. Turf came through and dropped some rarely seen maneuvers, copies of their latest video Turf and Destroy, and joined the locals for a free BBQ.
