Following Joe Brook's big night at FTC, on Saturday July 9th and Sunday July 10th, Jerry Harris and Dandi Bordeaux of 510 Skateboarding hosted a shoe release party and pop-up shop for the debut of Max Schaaf's 4Q Era shoe. Outside, the event featured a wall of Ken Nagahara's photos shot of Max and friends traveling cross country by motorcycle.  Ken made a book about the trip called Cost to Coast, available for purchase at 510.  Inside, Vans used a new screen printing technology to post a large-scale photo Gabe Morford shot of Max riding in front of Oakland's signature AT-AT cranes.  Skaters, friends, and bikers all came out to support Max and his most recent project, one of many more to come out of the tiny workshop inside Max's prolific brain.
