After making it to the great plains Heath Kirchart and Jeff Vallee were riding their bikes against the wind when they decided to pull a Rope-a-Dope. It seems that there were a lot of internet cyclists out there that wanted them to fail.  But the laugh is on them because Heath and Jeff are still going strong on their journey from LA to NY.  This hoax has really stirred things back up on the SLAP forum.
