For a few years now, Donny Barley has been putting on summer skate jams at the Kennedy Plaza in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. Originally known as the FOY (Fountain of Youth) Jams, these night sessions have turned into an annual event called Shred Kennedy that culminated with an awesome DJ'd skate jam presented by Vans on September 29th of this year. Donny Barley fearless leader'd the event into a collection of mini-contests where all the local rippers went nuts on the sleeping giant of skate obstacles Donny has amassed, including a bunch of the Element drop-a-spots. By the time the lights turned out, as you'll see in this video, Kevin Phelps took the cake with the night's most amazing skating, and 300 kids went home stoked after sessioning their hearts out in the Indian Summer.
