I hate that I get my mag so god damn late every month, this is bullshit. I'd be stoked that Trappasso stuck it to the man to start his own deal, but, he stuck it to Ed and that shit doesn't fly with me. Jamie, fuck you. slap was hanging on for dear life two weeks ago and now I come on every three hours and it's someone new jumping ship or getting bummed, it's awesome. He was probably stickin it more to Tum Yeto than to Ed, i've read interviews with Ed and he doesn't have a lot to do with the business side of things at Toy Machine, he's paid as Pro and a brand director and head art director. In that interview he also said he gets paid more from Emerica than from Tum Yeto. So i would guess anything having to do with dudes gettin paid is done through a whole different dept at Tum Yeto. |

-Jake Johnson's interview is fucking excellent.  He goes into detail about how skateboarding for big corporations just isn't for him and how he's so much happier being local and influencing others around him positively. It's really an awesome interview and he's a pretty inspirational dude.I really want to read this, not having done so yet I'd say this sounds great and I love Jake but he needs to put his money where his mouth is pretty soon. Dude got really injured and was out for 2 years? Hyped he's gettin healthy on his own time and he puts out tricks here and there (I remember he did something insane over black hubba in one of the NYC OIAM episodes). That workshop part is easily in the top 5 of the best NYC parts in the last decade some of those spots were fucked up I wasn't talking about how much or how he skates, he's been getting shitloads of good footage lately, I'm talking about who he skates for. I'm pretty sure this will change in the near future and become more aligned with his beliefs yo. There are heavy hints in the interview that Jake's doing something different.? And yes, I'm digging dudes actually speaking their minds and being honest.? This shit where dudes are afraid and basically speak in terms of whatever pleases their sponsors (or literal sponsor placements) is fucking gross.  |

i m just happy that cupsoles are finally coming back! Same. Exactly. All the cupsoles (or even air bubbles) skate shoes I've had have been great to skate. Thinking about getting that shoe once some money comes through. How do they fit? Because I've found a bit of variation in sizing with supra models. Live in UK and usually I'm a 9.5 UK , but some supras a 9 has been great, others I have needed a 10. My local shop isn't getting them so it'll be an online deal. I never left. Vulc was never as good. |
