Not to steal HATE!'s thunder, but here is the Polar P2. It's symmetrical-and very square, A lot like the board Matt Rodriguez skates... sorry the pics aren't better. The concave is not as flat as a Girl/Choc, more of a mild to moderate concave. Solid wood, but a little heavier.
Man, no worries about stealing thunder! Support those dudes and tell people about it! I'm excited to skate that shape!
that shape is whacky, don't think i could skate that.
Krooked has a Gonz board that is shaped this way
, my homie strictly searches them out and gets them. Any time I play around on it its pretty fun, super good for nose and tail slides... kind of weird for heel flips but all in all it isn't too hard to get used it.
whats that board called? (if you know) do they still make it or is it an old one
It seems like every season they typically have one with the shape. The catalog rarely (never) indicates that its shaped that way.
This was the one he stocked up on (bought 3 and sat on them). Unsure what is out now. I'd recommend contacting dlx or going to your local shop and checking.

got sick of how flat that Polar was, so I set up something new.
Damn it. Comments like this make me so nervous to get one.
But don't they have choices with different concaves? I had tried my friend's Polar once, it did not feel flat at all. And I'm used to skating REALs.
Maybe they have different concaves, I don't know. I'm not going to test out a bunch of different ones to try to find the right shape and end up getting stuck with more flat boards that I don't like. I like the shape that Magenta has so I'll keep buying that.

I'm only 5'9" but i stood on that 33 long Jakeshop a couple weeks ago at the shop and it felt so money.
but I've always liked 32s or bigger. If i had the money at the time, I would'a scooped it up.

Indy 149 w/ bones mediums

The perfect setup.
Looks like you have some high-traffic carpeting there. Do you live in the lobby of a hotel?
The photo makes it look kinda weird but its industrial carpet in my townhouse. Just got that motherfucker cleaned too, having a four year old in the house means hardwood or industrial carpet is mandatory.

x33 on that 8.25? Holy fuck how does it feel? That sounds so long.
Im 6 foot 5 so it was a huge game changer. I reAlly hope they keep a Jake board in the catalogue with 33 as the length. Not sure i can go back.
damn you're tall! Do you know any other brands that do 33+ length boards? I'm 6 foot 3 with US13 feet and currently skating an 8.5 X 31.875 which feels alright, but I was thinking about making the switch to longer boards to see if it feels any better, what's your shoe size btw? just interested

Santa Monica Airlines makes an 8.5x33 with a 7.25 inch nose and a 7-inch tail. Just go to smaskateboards.com and you can find it there.

this happened to me in around grade 11 in vancouver. cardiel and drehobl were skating the kirkstone park in north vancouver, i think their footage from that day is in the bonus of free your mind. sight unseen was on heavy rotation for me at that point in my life, so i was pretty stoked to go for my daily skate and see those two dudes at the local park.

I wasn't quite sure how I was going to like this board. I skated it today and loved it. Super fun and so fun to ollie, as it is probably only about 31.5 long with a 14.5 wheelbase. It makes me want to relearn kickflips. I'm just having a lot of fun with skating right now. Hyped.
