That's weird because the dimensons listed are 8.125 x 31.25. I'm getting the Harmony board in that series which is 8.25 x 32.875. I hope the length isn't any shorter.

Haha, damn, that's gotta suck if you don't like anything over 32. I've noticed a few Toy boards been listed as just over the 31 mark (online shops and their own catalogue) which seems way too short. Might just be a typo. I remember reading on here about how companies measure the length differently, but I can't see it being that if the difference is that big.

No, usually about every other week or so. I only set up the Stereo board because the shape of that Girl board wasn't really working for me. I try to skate boards for a bit less time in order to leave them in semi-decent condition because I give them to a friend back home in Arkansas to be sanded down and repainted for the annual art show that benefits the DIY section of Kanis Park in Little Rock, AR.

General question (not thread worthy, and in advance I would appreciate any helpful advice):
I usually skate Chapman wood. Hopps to be specific. The shop closest to my apartment now sells Polar. I'm sure they are good, but would I be disappointed by the quality of Polar compared to Chapman?
Thanks.

Hards are perfect for me, 6'0/170 lbs. The mediums and softs felt the same to me when I tried 'em out.
Everyone's different I guess.

Broken in hards are like brand news mediums. I have hards on bottom and mediums on top and it's perfect.

That's the same set up I have on my ACE. They're really squirrelly otherwise.

I've been considering a pair of aces, I really want an 8.25 truck and Indy doesn't make any. Are they similar to Indys? What's the wheel bite like on them?

Just throw 149s on the 8.25. That'd work. ACE turn a lot sharper. I usually go back and forth between Indy and ACE.

I don't think my skate related OCD could handle that 1/4 of an inch sticking out past my board. Guess I'll just stick with my 139ers cause I'm only 3/4 of the way to the axle.

Ace are really good...if you can get used to them. They turn really sharp because they have the old Indy geometry. The hardest part is that they don't really tighten, they just kind of get less really loose if that makes any sense. But if you love loose trucks, Ace are really good.

I'm riding the 8.25 from that series and am digging it. It's the one with the furry creature with arrows sticking in him.

Got another one of these in 8.5, this is the best board I've ever ridden, great shape and concave and my previous one stayed solid and poppy for ages even after I managed to get water all over it, totally backing this shop, SS20 fucking rules
