Does anyone really care about this?
Yes. Seriously.
and your shop brought drum's in because you touch yourself at night while on the phone with CCS.
Yes. Most of us do. And "Fuck this industry" doesn't really apply because without the industry being what it is you wouldn't have CCS. You fucking cunt

I actually laughed aloud while reading your comment.
Bunch of lames!
Why do you even care? (enough to get angry about it on Slap lol!)
You aren't going to change anything on an individual level.
My contributions aren't going to change anything, either.

You're delusional if you think that. Skateboarding still has a relatively small and contained industry, so when you go out and buy items made by real companies, from real skate shops you are definitely contributing. Why do you think Es went out of business? Because the individual wasn't going out and buying their stuff. Companies like CCS, Zumiez, West 49 etc., exist because people like you make the decision to shop at them.
Your whole attitude is flawed, it's lazy and in the long run will end up fucking over legitimate skater owned shops.

Not for long.
Street League amongst various media outlets are only making skating more and more popular.
Your little house on the prairie mentality isn't built for the modern evolution of economics within the skateboarding industry.
What makes a shop "legitimate"?
Does it matter where I got my product from if the product itself is still "legit" and skater owned and run?
Something to consider.
I don't even give a fuck at all, though lol.

Yes it does. Because skateboarding is a community. And to keep the community healthy it needs to grow at grass roots. The product is good to support yes, but even more important is the distributor. The core mom and pop skateboard shops are your connection, your direct line to the "industry" and pros and ams and companies. To disavow your local because they need more of YOUR business is idiotic. Go in there and make it known that you don't think they should be selling kooky shit, make it known that the skateboarders in your community, your little slice of skateboarding aren't going to sit and watch as big corporate backed footlocker shops take them out. But nope, you're helping to destroy them. If you're in it for the skating you should realize how important core shops are to "the skating".
But this has been stated before, you just don't get it.

I really don't see the point in putting an Anti-Hero sticker on another DLX board.? If you like anti hero so much why don't you just skate one?
I tried this with Expedition deck and DGK grip. Fuck I felt like a kook.

Same as Alien, so its not some fucking canoe like New Deal's boards were, but its not dead flat either. good amount of nose and tail, and a mellow-ish concave. IMO perfect.

Board just broke at the park.
it didnt break all the way through, but the first ply snapped just above the tailside hardware holes.
Real bummer is I was having a super good session, lots of new switch tricks. But it broke on a simple halfcab coming back down into a bank.
This boards size and shape are PERFECT for me, and the Roger I had before this one lasted me like 3 months.
I just need another one.
Gonna see if maybe Sieben will take pitty on me, and have my shop buddy send him an e-mail with some photo evidence to get a replacement.
Gonna have to buy a cheap shop deck in the meantime though, cause theres no way I'm going a week, 2 weeks+ without skating.

My pal gave me his McGill re-issue cruiser that was collecting dust and I've decided to make it my main board for a while. Pretty refreshing, actually.
Indy Stage 9 149's and Santa Cruz "Screaming Hand" 58mm
Edit: still don't know how to post images on this thing.

Changed my mind about the cruiser...
Fixed DGK Marcus McBride 7.75 from 2007. I grabbed it from storage intending to trade the 129's for 139's.
Bones SPF 54mm
A little narrow for my current taste but but better than nothing.
