I've been working on an album for about a month. I recorded a cover the other night just to do something a little different and take a break from my own stuff. I might work on it a little more and use it on a little acoustic mini album I plan on making. If you have any suggestions feel free to share them. I used acoustic guitar, violin, tambourine and a dulcimer.

I dig your stuff.

Here is the old record (that still isn't mastered) of the project my wife and I do.  Hope you enjoy it.

My slacker rock band just released our second EP. Check it out if you have like 15 minutes to spare.

This is my bands free single with an A-side and B-side. We are based out of N.Y.  We've been compared too Sonic youth and The Strokes. Our influences are all across the board.

If you like us, you can listen to some other tracks on our facebook, buy our new full length on our facebook online store and like our page while your at it.  We are also on Itunes if any of you actually buy music off iTunes.

I've been making beats for about a year and a half now and I just recently decided to release a beat tape cause I feel like some of my stuff is pretty decent and I want other people to hear it.
I plan on releasing it in December it will have some of my old stuff but mostly my newer stuff.
All I really have to do is decide which beats to put on it name them and put them in order but I'm kinda lazy right now.

This is the cover I made for the tape. (Sorry for the fat ass pic)

This is going to be one of the tracks on the tape.

its not my band since i dont play in one, but they are good friends. i skate a lot with their singer. they are tight. and have an amazing live-show. i recommend at least listening to "losers throne".

sounds tight!  what are you using for production?  and what kind of sound are you going for?  are you trying to do shit for people to rap over, or something instrumental and more atmospheric?

thanks for checking it out i appreciate it! i'm using ableton and i'm not sure what sound i'm going for yet, i just go through music phases. that would be awesome if someone rapped over my more instrumental stuff, but i want to make it so it could go either way

rad.  i used ableton to do the drums for my first record, but now i'm using an octatrack (talked about it a little bit in the electronic thread).  trying to do a remix in ableton currently, and its killing me!  (haven't touched it in about a year).  but yeah your shit sounds good.  if you go the instrumental route, i think you could sound a bit like Balam Acab or Kuedo.  keep at it!

Just got hit up by an old bandmate of mine, and he said he'd be talking with all the other dudes, and they want to get back together and maybe try doing a house show or two for fun. It's been like a year and a half since I've last played a show. Should be fun.
