Guess everyone's on the band wagon - this should probably be in Whatever, but whatever . ..  .

I saw these the other day, really sad. I'm sensing a weird attitude/change in vans as of lately, getting cocky, and rich.

Seriously get the half cab syndicates they're fucking amazing, they have an insole and are one of the best shoes i've skated, seriosuly get some for your next shoe, you'll be stoked

On a sader note, there's 16 different Van+Simpson shoes Sad

I bought one pair of the "perf" Syndicates and before that pair were even remotely worn out, I went and grabbed another pair.  They're that good.

did anyone else see that vans ad where it's talking about how they are the original? well I mean I don't know if there is fact behind it or what, but did they not see the designs to some of their shoes? If these companies are just straight up ripping off the eras and slip ons then that sucks.. but it seems they must have sold the designs because litterally every shoe company have a slip on identical to vans, so whos fault is that?

oh shit, really? In which case I retract my last statement. So vans hasn't seen a penny from all the designer/skate/casual footwear companies that use the same desing? Well that shut me up I guess. To bad for vans in that case.

I recently started skating Hightops again and need more. I had some used half cabs way back wich were radical and then some awful Vans whatevs that really turned me off. Maybe, just maybe, Slap posters have a powerful influence because I actually like that pic of the half cab syndicate.

I haven't seen any new designs by Vans, but for years the vast majority of their shoes were ripoffs as well, I remember they had a Cats ripoff cca 2002, basically it was a ripoff of a ripoff. They need to calm the fuck down and stop the "we did it first" bullshit.

^^^^ I'm pretty sure that's not true.  If I'm not mistaken, VF Corporation has nothing to do with Vogue.

Conde Nast publishes Vogue.

VF stands for Vanity Fair which i think you were confusing with Vogue. Although VF is not the magazine Vanity Fair.
VF owns North Face, Lee Jeans, Jansport bags and Vans along with many others.

Ownership just means they take the profit and thats about it. Doesnt really effect the overall company.

So many companies are owned by bigger companies. Its the way of the world.

Circa should be called Hong Kong Holdings INC.

Nice huh?
