A bit fat apple at the moment.

It's not even just Scotland that has deep fried mars bars. There's a place called wingnuts here that sells them, along with snickers and various other candy bars. I had a snickers a while ago despite being somewhat sceptical and it was incredibly delicious. That said, I definitely wouldn't want to have them regularly.

I just finished off another apple. Bought a whole bag for cheap from the market.

For dinner tonight I had home made pizza with tomato, light mozarella cheese and fresh basil. We made our own wholemeal pizza dough.

I had a flu last week and the worst thing about it has been not being able to eat all the delicious food that I've had access to. I regretted that pancake breakfast so much when I got home yesterday.

trying to decide where to hit up for lunch. I have been having awful heart burn so I am trying to straighten out my diet. But when I got into work I saw the reciet to an old spicy roti sitting on my desk, and I am at the cross roads again. Anyone been to the restaraunt lettuce? just make giant, awesome salads. I need some guidance here.

Never been there or heard of it. Buy some antacid if you don't want to change your diet. If you get a salad, don't use dressing and you shouldn;t get heartburn.

so I went to this place called the sandwich box. Had smoked chicken on white baguette (crispy and buttery might I add) with a chipotle & avacado mayo, portabello mushroom, roasted sweet peppers, jalepeano (sp) havarti grilled to perfection with a side salad. It was delicious.

you and BB have to recommend some downtown dining spots to me...   i know sushi on bloor, salad king, and some burrito place in kensington market, but then there is a steep drop-off in my culinary map.
