I'm in Helsinki again this weekend - any of the Finnish contingent here got directions to that skate plaza? All I know is the number 4 tram and that's about it... Or any other non obvious spots they'd like to share, ha.

A non-skate spot to hit up would be the fish market down by the harbour. I love that place.

Micropolis Skatepark:
Micropolis Skatepark is situated next to Eläintarha track. You get there fastest with Trams 3 and 7. Get off at the Eläintarha stop.
cant think of any other spots right now, but there is a very good and wide miniramp at the "Kiasma" art museum.

Nice one Teenageriot. Turns out I'm staying on the 3 tram route, so that's well handy! I've skated outside Kiasma a few times before, and around the corner at the Post Office ledges too, so that's a start. Been to the fishmarket too Vibetek, rad little area and Hellman, I was on that same booze cruise last year, pure carnage, even for an Irishman... cheers for the replies folks!

tram 3t from centrum will take you to micropolis. and if you need skateshops go to kamppis 5th floor. there are two shops there. they can help you with parks/spots bars anything.
