Mike Peterson Appreciation

I gotta say that I am a big fan of Mike Peterson. The man is one of the nicest guys in the industry and has one of the smoothest styles around. The man can skate anything, a true All-terrain ripper. He should have been at the X-games, but to be honest he probably didn't even care. It'll never happen, but Globe should give him his own shoe. Much appreciation to a man that makes one-footers and tuck knees look cool.

I remember hearing that he went to a contest when he was younger and won a pair of Koston 1s. The first thing he said was 'Who's Koston?'
Mike is a great skater; seeing him skate in person is crazy. He really can skate anything easily.

There is more Bieber coverage on Slap than one would expect from a bunch of manboys arguing the minutiae of rollerboard stunts. Actually now that I type that it kinda makes sense.

Mike P is a great dude who just skates. No flashy bullshit. He'll skate it all faster than a lot of heads out there. Good ol' boy ex landscaper from J-Ville. No bullshit skating, no bullshitting persona. I wish there were more Mike P's.

Mike's towards the top of my favorite skaters.
He's a ripper, he's humble, and he's nice as fuck.
Mike's a great guy.

Skated a bowl in Orlando with him and then watched him annihilate a pretty good-sized mini ramp at Surf Expo... fucking amazing skater, and like everyone said, nice as hell. Super fun to watch... one of those cats that makes people stop talking during a playing of a video.

Sorry, that's a manual. I live near that spot. That ledge is so chunky and inbedded with stones that just rolling on it produces a "grinding" sound.

Peterson is so sick.

I guess we have to wait for a Consolidated video to drop. I heard he had his part filmed for the World Industries video "Camoflaged Suits" when they dropped their whole pro team. I still think Globe should give that dude a Pro Model, even though we all know that they won't. He is probably the best dude out in the industry as far as his attitude, for that alone they should give him the Mike P shoe......

He did a Globe demo with Chad Fernandez and DJ Chavez a few years ago and smoked em both right outta the gate. Everything was first try or less than 3 tries going at full speed. He did so much gnarly stuff that none of the locals at the park had even attempted before. First time to see much of him and we were all pleasantly surprised.
And yes, really nice guy. He kept wanting to talk about golf.

Mike is one of the best skaters to veiw in person and there really isn't much footage of him on the net. So I figured.... why not upload three tricks of his I have sitting on my computer.

I think he's one of the best dudes to watch because you never know what he's going to throw down, besides he has one of the best laid back styles out. Him and Chet Childress have some of the best steezed out tranny style.
