just saw 'juno' this afternoon with my girl. i am in no way a cinemaphile -- in fact, generally i dislike movies. but this film was perfect from end to end. i dont have a single complaint. every character was consistent and believable, yet there was a pretty surprising plot twist involved. it was really well filmed, the storyline was interesting, it was a pleasure to watch. id even go back if someone else was paying.
dude... this is exactly how i saw it, how i feel about movies, and how i feel about this one. thats pretty damn incredible. mental twin. weird shit. i thought i'd hate this thing before i saw it, but its actually pretty good. good tunes in there to.

I saw it last night. It was alright. I definitely agree that a lot of the pretentious, hipster, pseudo-intellectual dialog was annoying. I think I expected more out of it, but I don't regret seeing it. It was pretty good.

it looks like a good movie and i really think the guy from arrested development/superbad is funny....but it sucks that hes gotta play that same character for the rest of his career.

He played a lot more dramatic roles when he was a kid. I would have liked to have seen him beat out Haley Joel Osment for the role in The 6th Sense.

a lot of the dialogue is cringe-worthy
i'd say about 75% of it is, especially rainn wilson's little cameo. i wanted to leave the theater right then.
i love the office and rainn wilson, but his cameo made me:
. His 2 or 3 lines weren't at all funny but everyone in the theater was laughing their ASSES off (i think they *made* themselves laugh solely because Dwight K. Schrute was on the movie screen, and people usually associate Dwight with laughter...so they kinda felt obligated to give out a huge chuckle).
Wait... the good office or the lame, americanized rip off???

I think most of you are missing the idea that you don't go to a movie like this "with the bros".
Walking out of the theatre, you'll look gay.

Hey I can't help it if it's true. Steve Carrell is funny but the rip off is just not funny. No one is a comedic genuis like Ricky Gervaise. They sucked the soul out of his brilliant baby...

really? i thought that the (over)use of supposedly contemporary 'teen talk' was fairly clumsy
I thought the Juno character was too hip for her own good

How is it a rip off if Ricky Garvais is executive producer and writer on 55 episodes. I also like the US version better then the British version.
