I just wanted to use this opportunity to talk about THE GREAT ONE.

The reasons why he is so rad are:

1. Started his career from the ground up back in the day aka HISTORY
2. Can talk shit and back it up aka A DOER not just a TALKER
3. Funniest man in skateboarding right now
4.  Most intelligent comments based on his observations of every day things (though weed might influence   some of it). 
5.  Says things that people want to say, but are afraid to 

There was one article in skatebard rag or whatever it's called where he calls out pro's that made a comeback.  Not specifically, but i think he was calling out dudes like the MUSKA specifically.  The most dissapointing comeback ever.  He's only a notch above the whackness in that "How to Go Pro" video.  And to the pros like donny barly and whomever that think skateboarding is not a job were you get coverage to maintain your status, fuck you.  We don't want you anymore leeching off the industry. 

But this is about clyde.  Thank you brother for your journalistic integrity!

i remember in one article he said that there's no such thing as a black skater, yet he created a skate video with minority skaters and acknowledge it. kinda hypocritical if you aske me.

I think that's the geneous behind it.  I think that some of the greatest american writers contradict them selfs in order to grow artistically.  The only down side to him I hear is that he believes that he is really the 'smartest' dude out there.  you can be relatively intelligent, but being the 'smartest' is whole other thing.

I dont know what that fool was talking about with Barely and stuff but yeah ive always liked Clyde, especially when he skated Ny in the mid 90s. Is always pretty funny to listen to him and read what he writes. Enjoyed all his sections yeah I like the dude.

Don't really agree with you there.  I think it's probably his last full part he'll ever have, and best.  It's raw, powerful, and refreshing.  He's not the best, but by far not the worst. 

And yes, the blog is awsome.  Kinda over this whole cut and paste thing that people call their observation of the world, aka blogging.  Any asshole can repost someone elses shit on their own page and call it good.  I like some more literary content than some youtube of a dude who gets hit in the crotch.

progression and changing/maturing doesn't mean contradiction in a few articles times. especially when he talked about not being a black skater and just a skater before and during his advertising for minority report as a video all of black/hispanic/asian skaters.
