Fag's that I skate with ate school say my board sucks because it's an eight but fuck them....
anyways what size do ya'll skate and why? and how long do they last you?

7.8 usually, I wear a size 8 shoe so I feel like it works out. 

Board usually lasts like 3-4 weeks depending on how much I'm skating, and what I'm skating.

Not to long or short. I like basic shapes as long as it doesn't have a skinny tail. Girl concave is my favorite. People say they don't last but
mine have lasted for months. Even while the board was in my car all summer. Then again, one will snap on a flat ground trick. Still the best.

i am riding a 7.75 right now....the highest i ever got was 7.8 and the board i got a x-mas was an 8 so i guess ill give the bigger ones a whirl.....

i kinda like the 7.75 though

i am about average height with a size ten shoe. when i was younger i thought the bigger, the better. i would have an eight and a half inch board with high trucks, 55-60mm wheels, and risers on my regular setup. the biggest board i ever went up to was some nine inch wide 151 board i got from someone, and the biggest wheels i had were 63mm's high. i went from stuff like that, to the opposite end of the spectrum within a month. i had seven and a half inch boards with 50mm wheels and low trucks. the smaller board stage lasted me over a year, but they seemed harder to control/catch. plus, i looked too awkward on a smaller board. i am at a happy medium with my setup right now though: 8x32, high trucks, 52mm wheels


edit: i don't know what the hell i was thinking when i thought "the bigger, the better"

8 inch board,  but have been thinking about going down an 1/8 of an inch. 32 in length but a little shorter doesnt make a difference to me. 139 high indys and spitfire 52's and im gravy.

I know just what you mean......I have an eight and quarter antihero right now that feels just about perfect......I had a couple of eight and a half inch boards and it was fun but its kind of too much....its somewhat rare for me to find something over an eight though unfortunately
