i know this probablly dosent deserve its own thread, but im in one of the greatst moods in the last few years!

i was approved for a buisness loan that i had been trying to get and i finally got the ok from my bank, i got breakfast in bed, now im going to go shred the most awesomeness mini ramps, then after that im getting coffee with a special someone that i have not seen in 2 years!

considering the fact that i had a crappy birthday last weekend, everything is finally falling into place.

god! i cant sleep! ive been going to bed early but tonight is my party night! even though no drugs were involve, sober has never felt so good,


like the "REAL CONFESSIONS" thread im hear once again letting my emotions flow, (and it gives good text for stagefright to have a hayday with!)

i feel like i just woke up from a 3 - 4 year slumber of not being me. ive been a pansy push over for too long, i have been letting my life be controled by various people for the last few years, i hav been a push over for far to long but instead of getting butt hurt and depressed about it i have decided to live my life my own way, for instance, i have had a sort of crush on this girl for awhile and i hav been to scurred and not available to act on it, instead i just dated the safe route, i finally mustered up the courage to flirt with this woman that i thought was way out of my league, but i found out that she feels the same, now i just have to cross my fingers and hopefully she will be down to just be friends for a 6 months or so, i dont want to jump into another relationship, i need some by myself time and im not in the mood to just hook up on a fling with some chick, hopefully she will be down to take things really really slow.

incidentally we must have nearly the same birthday - mine was last weekend on the 19th (though that week was the best I've had in a long time, so maybe it's just going to be a good year for everyone, one week at a time!)

i feel like i just woke up from a 3 - 4 year slumber of not being me.

i figured out a simple statement yesterday that for some reason just dawned on me, "get busy living or lay down and mope" or die but thats kind of over dramatic and im done with that type of b.s.

That's rad, and I get why you would start the thread.
Honestly, I've been in the same boat lately. I went from subbing to being a real teacher, and feel a lot more purpose in my life. Not to mention the fact that when you tell a girl you are a teacher, she melts like putty in your hands. I graduated college and got dumped by a girl I would have married given the chance at the same time, and for the next couple of years just sat around feeling sorry for myself, and became quite bitter with life in general. But like you are talking about, its like I recently woke up after being dead for about 2-3 years. The side of me that I like, and others like has revived, and its awesome. Its all about maintaining it now. Even though the state sent me something a week agho saying they'll take my car away if I don't pay them money I don't pay them money I don't have anyway, so basically everytime I drive its like being in a stolen car. But I don't care now. Its not the problem, its the feeling of hopelessness and the inability to cope that hurt me. Not outside stresses. Problems come and go, its all about how you deal with them.
But yeah, congrats. I'll cheers you in my head tonight when I go out and drink.

yeah, rough breakups are hard, it drfinetly feels crummy, i usually take em pretty hard and i usually let my emotions get to me and i end up saying hurtful unrealistic things to the other person, and that usually dosent help matteres at all... if you still love the person you just have to let them be, if its supposed to work out it will, but if not, you have to look inside yourself for the confidence that the hurt will pass and life will move on.
