Skateable right out of the box.  I thought I was going to stick to wearing Busenitz but these changed my mind.

I'd like a pair of these.  How do they fit compared to the busenitz?  Are they as nice and snug on your feet?  would you rate them more or less bulky?

definitely more bulky and a little bigger, I wear 9.5 in busenitz but had to get these in a 9 and theyre still roomy

aaayyyyeeeeee

chill shoes

Holy shit, the side panel makes that shoe look an awful lot like the Skytop 3.

Yeah....you know Supra isn't coming with nothing original. The Prestos were the first thing I thought of when I saw the Skytop 3s.

I have the busenitz and the silas' both in a 10 and they fit the same.  I don't think the Silas's is much bulkier at all, maybe a little around the collar.  Skate-wise, the board feel is the same... Both have really thin soles near the forefoot and slightly more cushion near the heel.

What are some generally good Vans besides Old Skools? I got a gift card for the Vans store and I don't really know what to get, it's been a while since I've skated them

the TNT 5s are really good, a lot like the Old Skool but with more padding and a bit chunkier. They last a lot longer than Old Skools as well. Half Cabs are good as well, but most of the time they wear out pretty quickly. To be honest all Vans wear out pretty quickly though. As has been said, Era Pros are good as well.

TNT 5's are the nicest vans I've skated in.  check out the Ripped Laces review, it's pretty on point

^^Sick. It actually drives me a little nuts to have black shoes with white soles at them moment. I'm a sucker for all black or white.

These are my 8th pair of Campus vulcs. I love how the bottom of the sole is gum instead of white

oldskool > half cab > AVE6 > TNT5

(read in reverse for most padding/durability tho)

Whoa Ive never heard that one. But I used to get size 10 for the campus vulcs and when I tried them one, they felt too big, so I went down to a 9.5 and it feels perfect

They are slimmed down. The rep I spoke with said how over the years they got puffy and with all the different factories things changed too much and riders weren't stoked so they made an effort to slim them up. The still fit big like the others.

the huf huppers are a much thinner (padding wise) version of the blazers - am a big fan but wish they had a more cushion-ey tongue

i didn't do that myself.  i bought the center and right pair from some sneakerhead who wore them like he wore the back pair (all loose and whatnot)

they just tear right off
