got them yesterday.

they're super thin, and feel real nice apart from the inside of the little toe area.  There's obviously an extra panel stitched in but instead of have a 1 piece lining on the toebox area, there's some awful stitching which I think is going to annoy the fuck out of me



they look fresh as fuck though (rocking the blue laces) so they might be relegated to chillers after a session or two

Those remind me of some eS's.. but I can't pinpoint which one.

that sort of thing drives me nuts.  where'd you get them by the way?  been looking for the whites.  how's the sizing on them? (for someone who usually skates janoskis).

I had those SLB 97's and was thinking the same thing. They sort of felt like shit, if I remember.



Looking back that gum toe-cap looks pretty strange. I think I had navy blue ones.

Hey Isaac, since you're practically on the team, did you have the opportunity to try the new Marc - the chukka style ones?

They look great but I haven't seen them anywhere yet.
If they finally are as comfortable as the Picos I might have found my perfect match.

but they look pretty snazzy.

the Linden's are pretty nice, really digging the snug fit and shape of the shoe.

Finally got a new pair for work and am starting to skate these, they actually look really interesting skated. They aren't bad skate shoes either.

I skated the original lead colorway and they lasted about a week and a half, so don't be entirely disappointed when those blow out quickly.

Cycling through all the Vans I have accumulated in the closet.  CTS insole with Kingfoam underneath make for a nearly perfect shoe.  Only the skate hi were purchased at full price.  Rest were all outlet deals that couldn't be passed up over the last couple years.  I have problems passing up good deals. 









and a pair of light grey halfcabs.  I'm good for a long, long time.
