Skates are really good. I like the toe a lot and the boardfeel is good. Only complaint is that they're crazy low, so a lot of your ankle is exposed.
How's the bottom sole? does it wasted faster than the campus vulc? and the suede, how is it?

They're the same, which I think is good.  They blow out faster though.

Man.. I'd take Campus Vulcs over the Skate anyday, just based on the sole, and especially if the rumors about the newer Vulcs being a bit thinner are true. They're nowhere near the same, IMO.. The Skates kinda remind me of that shitty bad-cupsole feel, excessively slippery and your feet sort of feel "disconnected" from the board, if that makes sense.. can think of a couple other shoes that felt the same for me in the past like the Lakai Telford and a couple pairs of DVS I had. I was paranoid as fuck about rolling my ankle or something shitty like that the entire time I skated them. They're kinda-sorta-ok, but there's no point in buying them when there are so many other shoes out there right now that are amazing for the same price.

They feel good, lots of support (comfy cupsople), skated these and the Cole S. I sort of like the dyrdek's a little more. It's got that Landau S like toe. Perfect for flicks!

Yeah how were they?

I'm looking forward to skateing them. I've been skating Campus Vulcs for the last 5 months but I'm looking for a good cupsole.

Aren't the Skates vulc?  (If you're looking for a good cupsole, I really like my pair of Fallen 76s.)

Nope, they're cupsole.. quick check of Adidas' site confirms that. Super-stiff-as-ungodly-fuck cupsole at that.

Then why call them something different than the Gazelle? The upper is exactly the same, all they would have had to do is just say they changed the sole on the Gazelle.

This shoe is the more skateable brother of the Gazelle. It features a padded tongue and collar, along with the traditional vulcanized sole.

Its says something different on every site.

The shop I bought them from says they are cup and vulc in the same paragraph.

Yeah, it's weird. Adidas' site describes them as "clean, basic, and vulcanized" then touts "rubber cup sole" as one of the features. Checked every other shoe they had listed to be sure, and everything seemed accurate based on the features list (Buse,Ronan,Silas etc. cup, Campus Vulc vulc) But I've skated them, and if they're vulc, they feel the exact opposite of any other vulc I've ever tried and such descriptors become essentially useless in trying to describe a shoe. You can't bend them whatsoever.. they remind me of wooden clogs or something. Ahhhfuckit.

New-old-stock! With the old G2 footbed:

Just got my Skate's. I haven't had the chance to skate them yet, but from walking around they do feel a little stiffer than the campus vulc sole, but alot more flexible than most other cupsoles. (I walked around with a Skate on one foot and a new Campus on the other)

I like the shape better than my Campus'. So I guess its all down to how they skate now.

Svilleantigo, which colourway did you get? Every model Adidas makes seems to change quality with the coulourway.

Does anyone else on Slap dislike (vulc) Blazers? I found the toe box to be a bit strange for kickflips, also the lack of ventilation bothered me. I can definitely understand why so many people would like them so much if they didn't experience the problem with the toe box (with the amazing sole and durability of the shoe), but I just couldn't get into the pair I had a while ago.

if there's one thing that needs to be fixed, it's the ventilation.

but if you're not into the toe, they're not for you, shit's pointy.

For skating...                                                                                   ...and for the rainy days.

These ones had black sharpie applying...                                           ...and these ones tag removing.

Damn you. I loved these, but my local shop didn't have them. Not that I need another pair of shoes. I'm planning on gettin those Dylan slip on/AWS collaboration ones where the black leather wears into silver.
