Every time I post a picture that's from my e-mail it doesn't show up. What's up with that? On another note has anyone had both pops shoe and the Cons CTS shoe? Which would you say is more durable?

I don't see a picture and judging by the url I'm assuming you got that picture from your e-mail. So I guess I'm not the only one having the problem of pictures not showing up when the url is from an e-mail address.

Slipped an old era pro sole into the old skools and they feel so good to skate in

Wow! Just when you think technology is at it's highest point someone comes along and creates a shoe that also turns into a skateboard and a hat.

Haha, you just had to be rocking Tiger's shoe Wink I'm a fan of Nike's golf program as well though.

As for the topic, I had a pair of Old Skools as chilling shoes for a while, they we're starting to come apart a bit so I thought I'd skate them a little. After 1 hour of skating I was almost through the canvas on the side already.

It was to be expected of course, and because they are old shoes it doesn't matter. I might have to look at a full suede pair or the TNT5s since I liked them otherwise (and I don't goo my shoes). I have been skating cupsoles for a while, and the waffle sole felt pretty good, but I have to say I had not been missing the white outsole dust all over my grip and clothes.

FYI, my Troopers have lasted me nearly 2 years as my semi skate/chill shoe. They are fucking bombproof.

Don't even skate those. No more eS.. and jeez those are beautiful too.
I'm ashamed to say this, but these are my first ever pair of eS. I'm most likely going to track down another pair of Square Twos because these things are incredible.

real talk.

The Lite S > that shoe

And I've never even worn that shoe, but I have the S and I know that the standard cole can't beat it. Seriously, the S feels so godly on my foot. I haven't skated it, but I have high expectations.

I'm having a lot of problems with back pains, pains in general, and not being able to do gaps without killing my feet. So, fingers crossed, I can actually skate these instead of the sole tech vulcs I've gotten so accustomed to.

Nike Koston SB vs DC Cole Lite S

GO!

Well, I have both (neither skated), so....

Impact support: Cole

Heel lock: Cole
weight: negligible

overall comfort: Koston - there is a unique lining to the back of the suede - the area your foot contacts

boardfeel: Koston...I think. It just feels like there isn't as much material between your foot and the ground.

protection/durability: both of the uppers feel VERY sturdy. The suede used in both is heavy-duty.

I did notice that the toecap of the Koston offers more protection (just by hitting my feet with my knuckles) in the event that the board land on your toes - something that has been the bane of my skating since I started wearing one-piece toecaps.

And, if I'm not mistaken, there is an additional layer of suede in the ollie area on the Cole's, which would double that area's life.

Overall: buy both.

my shop i work at got the Cole lite, with the clear bottom, and i tried em on and they slipped of my heels like crazy! couldnt imagine trying to skate them even. maybe its cuz the clear sole is stiffer?  i dunno, also the unilite shit on the bottom felt like i had something poking into my arch on my foot.

it didnt even feel like a skate shoe, but maybe the ones i tried on are shitty defects?
