hey all. has anyone had picos? i've only had manchester selects and wanted to see if i should get the same size. picos are supposed to be a bit slimmer if i recall correctly. strongly considering these for summer

amazingly skatable, super comfortable, but they doooooo notttttt lastttt. at all. it's really too bad, because i felt better in these shoes than pretty much any other i've tried. no break in time, just insta-go.. one of those shoes you just lace up for the first time and instantly feel at home in. they are slimmer, and they felt a little less floppy in the toe than manchesters as well. got a pair for christmas and the sole was toast by late january, even in this shitty skating-every-4th-day winter. sizing is the same as the manchesters. get em if you can find em on sale in the 30-35 dollar range, or if you have cash to burn.

I had oportunity to get them for mad cheap, so I tried them. I never wear vulc shoes, but for that money, why not. Needless to say, I dont remember a worse shoe than those... its a bummmer, because Lakai is tight as a company, but Picos suck, but maybe that is just me.

Its just you, hahaha. Really though, the Pico is a legit shoe! Perfect flick, amazing straight out the box, and pretty durable. I have been down for this shoe for awhile.

So I just got back from a lil trip to California, skated the buhjezz out of my old slip-ons. I think its finally time to give these guys a retirement of only being worn when I'm working on art and junk

and just before I left for the trip, I found out it was gonna rain for the first two days we'd be there, so I picked these waxed canvas IPath Cats for $25 at ROSS (Don't worry, I checked with Mr.Watson, he said he'd forgive me)

Decided to not even bother trying to skate them until I'd worn them around till they're heavily worn in. They worked pretty good for water resistance (though, not fullyproof)

And so with several days of complaining about how much my toes hurt and how I could feel my socks ripping from the ol' slip-ons, my buddy Scotty gave me these Vans that were a half size small for him to wear

wasn't psyched on how the front end of the shoe looked at first, but I dug the color, and after having skated them, I'll say, they flick real good (and thats saying something for a guy that doesn't flip much now-a-days)

Just ordered these for 27 bucks. I'm lucky they didn't get stolen considering they had been on my porch since 9 and I didn't get home until around 4. I haven't worn these yet but I've tried em on and they're mad comfy. Those insoles are the truth.

Wait till they flatten out, though...

The shoes are amazing to skate in, and they're pretty durable, too. That insole, however, doesn't last the life of the shoe.

You've been warned.
