Those shoes sure must keep your feet warm. I bet it gets annoying every time it meows though.

Those are nice. I'm skating these Blazers right now. I plan on getting the black and white mids next.

did you rip off the swoosh cuz it started to flap after ripping the stitches? if so id advise superglueing the edges after a few sessions. get that ghetto koston swoosh the shit just wears down to a square-looking checkmark

actually i don't!  i happened to get 2 pairs from a sneakerhead on ebay who for some reason cut the swooshes off of them.  i actually shoe goo the swoosh down after the first session where it becomes unstitched just because i can't stand to see it flap!  but i'm never proud to love that pair of nikes that much, but i am however psyched on a quality made skate shoe that won't fall apart without some serious fucking abuse

has anybody tried out those p-rod 5's? ive been thinking about what pair of shoes i wanna skate next but the mid-top version of the 5's look perfect for me. im stuck between a pair of those, some busenitz (wish they made em in mids), salazars and a few other shoes ive already had before like blazers & dunks. its gettin hot out here in the midwest its time for that shorts w/ tha mid tops swag!

P-rod 5's are a decent shoe, they skate well and are quite durable. No board feel though, but that's not a problem with you, correct?

not really if the shoe fits then ima be able to feel the board well enough. thanks tho im really considering picking these up unless i find a killer deal on something else. i had the 2's years ago and they were pretty good so im sure the 5's are even better

I'm digging everything about that shoe. This is the first time a pair of Gravis have appealed to me.

^^
At first, the toe/front area is super tight but after a few hours of walk and wear (skating), they broke in.

Favorite part of the shoe is the designed toe area. Since it's narrow it provides a pointy toe for flips. Which for me is good in any shoe!

Are Gravis waxed canvas shoes waterproof? Might get some of the Quarters for rainy days.

No they are not.

Also with the waxed canvas I found that even just from normal walking wear they would crack and split around the point where the shoe bent.
