black laces of course

How are those? I wanna get some.

I love my pair. It's probably the best cupsole I've ever skated. Only complaint is the tongue is super puffy, but that's not a big deal.

And not a big deal either, but did anyone else skating the 76s feels strange at how thin the sidewalls are? I expected them to be a little puffier, like most cupsoles.

Are Gravis waxed canvas shoes waterproof? Might get some of the Quarters for rainy days.

No they are not.

Also with the waxed canvas I found that even just from normal walking wear they would crack and split around the point where the shoe bent.

Yeah, it's really just for looks. Adds almost nothing to the durability of the shoe.

Just ordered mine by internet this saturday. Called at least 5 skateshops in Belgium and even one in France but not a single shop had them. Do most shops in the US have the last line of ?s in stock?

If those are anything like the Laced, and they basically look like a mid version of them, they should be ok. Nice simple cup sole, seamless toe, good flick.

I always skate vulc but I liked these so I got them to skate in. The first time, I fucking hated them. Not like I hate cupsole at first everytime I switch from vulcs, but straight hated them. I also fucked my ankle and was out for 3 weeks the first time I used them, so that made me hate them even more. I liked how they looked though so I just kept wearing them as regular shoes.

Then now, like half a year later when theyre all supah-worn in from walking in, I had em on when I took the zig zagger out for a spin. They felt super fucking good, everything was nearly perfect. The sole just feels a little high somehow, but I could see myself getting another pair.

I like that tan and blue colorway of those eras, might get the old skools they have in the same colors.

Funny actually, I looked up the old schools and the official colors are gingerbread and dress blue.

found them at ambush/buyskateshoes.com, definitely thin and lightweight/breathable but i'm not skating these. it's like a canvas upper so it would be toast in a few seshs

I had them on today, they weren't all that bulky but they're not very thin either. I haven't skated them yet but my feet sure will appreciate the extra padding!
