ive never really liked chuck taylors but i must admit i find those to be quite wavy

i'd kill for a pair of these

Do the toecaps on these actually make the shoes last longer? I mean, it makes sense that it would but I have no personal experience with Chucks specifically (not that I'm even gonna buy em- that material is just too damn thin). I've been through like 4 pairs of Adidas Superstar shelltoes and those shits lasted like 4-5 months a piece heavily skated with no goo or superglue. Pretty solid.

True to size.
Haven't had a pair of CTS' in a year or so, but if I remember correctly they should skate awesome.

These look amazing, but I could never get over how they looked like clown shoes on my feet because they seem so long.
I feel you man, I got an 8.5 and I feel like I'm wearing 10's.

got these today. old skools were $30, eras were $10

dafuuuuq. how does one get shoes that cheap? now they're trendy they cost a lot pretty much everywhere here.

I used to be able to get old skools for like $20 or less at local shops :\\\

in the north of spain some wal-mart-like places have em for like 30 - 35 euros. shit is i live in the east, so everything costs a shit-ton: cheapest vans are usually 40 euros (rare) and up (usually 55/60), so its not worth it.

if they costed 25$, or lets say, 20 euros, I'd probably wear em all the time. fucking sucks since only ppl who actually buy them dont skate.

Old Skools are 69-75 euros here, and I've paid 89e for a pair of Authentics that I really liked. So you know, it could always be worse....

I wouldn't pay more than 35 for Old Skool though, if I wanted to skate them. I don't goo my shoes so those ones don't last for more than a couple of sessions.

My friend has been skating them and the only complaint he has had is that the grip feels weird.

I'm not a huge fan of Emerica, but I'm looking for a low-profile cupsole with a thin upper. Has anybody had any experience with the Laced?

people seem to love them or hate them, i'm the latter, but probably just because i picked up a pair of leather ones, not suede, so they didn't stretch right or breathe at all. um, it's basically what you'd expect: great board feel, typical emerica outsole that wears through pretty quick, no ankle collar padding or support whatsoever though, so if you're cool with that, then they'll be just fine.

I had a pair of laced a few years ago that I skated for around 2-3 months. This was when I kept skating shoes even after my toes started bleeding(which I've stopped doing only recently). Still I have no idea how I managed to skate than thin ass shoe that long.

Austin.... that was a joke played by Tate.  It's because they have Janoski toes.  I don't think that's their name, dude.
