the tongue logo makes me think they're a mall shoe, which they shouldnt be, that's a good design, a janoski ripoff yeah, but i'd get those before nikes
lolwut? all the janoski did was put stitching on the toe of a chukka low, I wouldn't say vans ripped them off
what i ment by that was, i doubt vans would have made this model if so many other brands werent doing the same thing, the toe stitching has become popular, in the picture the left shoe looks alot like a janoski, the part of the wave showing is reminiscent of the nike logo

^ I actually got those Vans on eBay. The seller told me they were a model that is due out later this year, so I'm guessing they are samples. The shape kinda reminds me of a Janowski, but for wider feet. They feel pretty good so far. I hope Vans ends up putting these into production.

vansowski

where can i find them? my internet searched yielded no results

Austin.... that was a joke played by Tate.  It's because they have Janoski toes.  I don't think that's their name, dude.

i knew the name was tates tom foolery, i was google searching every combo of "vans janoski rip off" i could come up with.

if you picked it up at an outlet, theres a big chance they're not sb blazers (I honestly don't know the difference between regular / sb blazers though)

im skating a pair right now. really good. the quarter high thing is sorta weird at first. its not a mid. the low profile toe box and ollie patch, i haven't put any wear on the suede yet. shape and feel like the other gravis stuff. maybe a bit more heel lock then the low gravis stuff. elastic straps on the tounge. lots of people will ask you about them.. oh, the grip is super grippy.

personally for me they felt a bit bulky and slightly overpadded at first (probably because they felt slightly too big, must get a half size lower with gravis next time), took a little longer to break them in then regular shoes but overall a really good shoe, really grippy and durable so far.

these things are bullet-proof in terms of the upper, great grip and sole in general. after my second pair my feet couldnt really handle it though. the whole, thin ass rubber tread/sole, no midsole, kinda decent insole just was not enough cushioning

Hey Brosssssss,
Not sure if this was posted anywhere yet or if it's too good to be true, but Nikestore.com has Black/White Janoskis for $38 bucks!!!!  I just ordered a pair and got the confirmation that they'll be here at my pad by Thursday, so I'm assuming it's the real deal and not a mistake.....

Went to the Gravis sample sale and picked up a pair of the filters and Dylan shoes for 20 bucks. The Dylan shoes are really comfortable and the filters are good too.
