How do you like those? They kinda look boring but I'd consider buying them to support Westgate and Emerica

Rod Kimble, they are cupsole.

Made In China, just laced them up. Real comfy, simple design. But feels real sturdy. Hopefully will skate in them in a week or so, after my ankle heals.

They look kind of...bulbous and bulky. maybe its just the way they're sitting in the picture.

Black/white Vans slip-ons are my go to chilling shoe so my sister got me a pair of these for my birthday... needless to say that I'm stoked.

gravis arto "mids" for all day skating.  gravis duros for chill skating.. adidas boos n tits & gravis quaters for work.

the artos are super sick. but the new ones with out the ollie patch.. who knows but seems pointless. the arto "mids" are more like "quaters".. they are not mids for sure. still skate really good though.
the quaters LX.. unskateable.. way way to thin.. the insole. to outsides. good for chillin'/ .can't recommend for actual skating.

The quarters look sick but I am scared of shoes with less than 4 eyelets. Does your heel stay down? Cuz nothing is worse than heel-lift. See Vans Chukka for reference.

the heal lock on the quarters is actually really good. way better then the filters. but i can't reccomend them for skating.
they have what feels like an even thinner insole then the filter.. and the vulc is only a single wrap.. no bumper.. but imo only good for chillin or work.

just got a pair of these Zero ChuckTaylor Rip offs

They actually seem they'll be pretty good. They've got a better sole and tread pattern than traditional chucks (it actually kinda looks like the Campus Vulc tread pattern), plus came with some slim insoles in 'em.

I took a black marker and some paint to the skull on the side and the ZERO on the heeltag, and taped out some perfect rectangles of iced shoegoo (just waiting for it to cure, then I'll razor out the edges and peel the tape off), so the canvas won't even have a chance to rip.
I ain't made of socks.

Shoe goo spreads easier with an ice cube.  Actually I don't know how anyone puts it on a shoe without an ice cube.  Then again I don't know why anyone would ever skate in canvas shoes.

I don't know how anyone does without ice either HATE!
and normally I'm not one to skate in canvas shoes either, but I skated a pair of old chucktaylors a long time ago for an hour or so, and yes, they ripped after the first ollie of the day, and the "rubber" (I wouldn't even call it that. classic chucks tread feels like shitty, fuzzy, hard cardboard in most spots to me) of the sole sucked, but the rubber toe cap, and the lightweight, slim feeling of the shoe itself were awesome.
And then I come across this knock off version with a better sole, and knew if i gave'em a couple of goopatches they'd atleast last a solid 2 weeks.

ive never seen anyone use ice. i was taught the one sticky finger, one wet finger technique. sticker finger to get it out of the tube, then another finger you lick to smooth it onto the shoe

Try it with a ice cube.  You get the thinnest, perfect layer with that.
