Whats the general consensus on Vox Saveys? have the chance to get these kinda cheap, but have never seen anyone around here wear Vox so i have no idea how they are.

I've skated a bunch of vox. i like em. but they DO NOT last long. i suck and ill kill em in a couple weeks. max.. so i imagine the savey's to be worse. but cheap is cheap. if you need something cheap to last for a week or so. they'd probably work.

Shoe goo spreads easier with an ice cube.  Actually I don't know how anyone puts it on a shoe without an ice cube.  Then again I don't know why anyone would ever skate in canvas shoes.

I use a business card or metro card or something, I'll try this next time I patch up some shoes.

Es sqaure 2s with ollie patch made of an inner tube, the tread went away kinda quick, wish i spent the extra 10 bucks on the fusion model since i heard those last a little bit longer. there by far one the best shoes ive had and one of the few vulc shoes i can skate in

I had the same pair and colorway, they lasted me a good month, but it was a quick one.

We'll see when I skate them this weekend, but I've skated a pair of chucks, and the KA Star Player Mids that had the rubber toe, and I thought it was awesome. I don't wanna see it on EVERY shoe, but it has a nice little grip to it, it protects your toes (kinda sorta) and makes at least THAT part of the shoe last a long time.

Looks like I'll get another chance to work on that new goo technique sooner than I thought.
Anyways, they skate really good otherwise. that ZERO sole is WAY fucking better than your normal chuck sole, and definitely feel neat to skate in.

Skated them today and they're preety damn good. didn't even really think about them after the first few flips, I just skated and it went quite well. I'm impressed, good grip and feel straight out of the box in a cupsole.

(I'm so conflicted. On one hand they were $39NZD from a local which is bananas and they have an amazing team but on the other I went to Supra's site and was greeted by banners promoting a fucking running shoe while looking for a good image to post. Plus I've always hated their image/Skytops etc)

so skate shoe companies arent allowed to branch out into other markets as well? that team payroll has to be funded somehow. just enjoy the shoes fam, its really not that big a deal. being "conflicted" over a shoe purchase is just silly

got these for free from a friend on dvs, barely skated because he said they suck. i also heard from another friend that had them that they sucked, but so far they are skating pretty well for me



also buying some barely skated black/white campus vulcs from a dude at the park for $35
