Do you really mean without laces? I wouldn't recommend that. It's not like the tongue is attached to the side like the Silas II or something. You can slide into them without having to loosen your laces like any other shoe, if that's what you meant. Really, really comfy shoes. It's a stone cold shame they'll be gone.

yeah i thought i read that there also slip ons in an interview with him a little back, and ive seen pictures of him in them without them, maybe it was just when they were still samples so they changed it.

These are generally OK so far - I'm really basing the purchase off looks, "admittedly" - but holy shit is this foam thing weird to get used to. I remember it from my last pair of Emericas and absolutely adoring the feeling, whereas now it's sort of disgusting and incredibly unnatural.

Oh yeah, I will say that I like the half cupsole/vulc design. I actually bought these over a pair of es Edgar's just based off how thin the soles felt.... there was a big difference with these, but not enough that it'd feel like the floating feeling you get with cupsoles.

Weird you say that, though - I definitely feel like I've recognized these shoes worn more at the skatepark and just around town in general than really anything apart from Lakai Manchesters and Vans whatevers. They didn't do well?

All of those are pretty disgusting but those chris cole's are absolutely horrible. DC is the worst!  The Kalis shoes aren't half bad but I don't understand everybody fanning out on them super hard.  Is it because he posts on slap?

They should have some reDisCover interview style ads where everybody gets interviewed and says things like, "yeah the shoes are ugly and I feel shame for riding for the brand but....the paycheck is so good,  man...couldn't pass it up!"  The first thing I think about when seeing their logo is money.  Not skateboarding.  Nyjah fits at least.  I guess money and skateboarding have been intertwined in his mind from the get-go.
