my only concern with the lucas is that if those shits lace up tight and narrow the toe cap is going to look fucking bulbous

I was ready to pull the trigger once I found some white ones online but I'm now pretty sure I'm going to have to find a pair to try on.

(time to find somewhere in London that stocks adidas skateboarding shoes now)

Copped these Skytop 3's for tha low on 6pm.com & just got em in the mail today. These are my second pair and are seriously the closest thing to a "perfect" skate shoe. Midtop cupsole with a pointy toe, extra heel support & exceptional durability. These just might replace Dunks as my favorite shoe, they skate well right out the box.

You can size down if there's a little room. They stretch out some after some wear. There's really no padding. Took a couple times of skating but they've shaped perfectly.

they are kind of stiff because of some strange cardboard under the insole but other than that it was a great purchase

Yo Tate! Remember how you told me these shoes look better with baggier pants. Well I switched up so these shoes are next on my list. What do you think so far?

^^
I skated them for about 2 hours. They are super comfy, super flexible. I dont skate big shit or anything like that. Pretty much just Ledges and flat, and it does its job.

Love the shape of the toe. Currently my favorite cupsole shoe that is out. I changed the insole though.

I don't fuck with insoles, but you're missing out if you don't have some Bones instead of whatever stock shit is in there.

busenitz insoles don't have to be replaced. indy bushings do.

i skate extremely loose trucks so i don't have a problem with the indy bushings generally. sure, they will explode and fall apart eventually but that's after like 2 years. i don't know if i'd like to look down at my board and see something besides orange bushings in there anyhow, got a pretty bad case of skate ocd.

same here. every now and then they'll loosen up even more from doing too many slappies, but there's no reason for me to replace them.
