I've had two pairs of edwards and they skate fine just like any other vulc basically.  Wide-ish toe skates like old skools I'd say.  No removable insole, laces brake easy.  I wear size 10 in vans and had two pairs in size 10 that fit fine.  I would say that if you wanted to be sure your heel doesn't slip out as happens sometimes wearing this shoe go ahead and get the 9.5 I bet they'd still fit or stretch to fit pretty comfortably.

I'm more concerned with the durability of the shoe. I wanna make sure the sidewalls don't blow out too quick and that the treading doesn't rub off too quick.

around the toe area the profile is low enough that the actual suede doesn't get the brunt of the wear
all the other panels are pretty clean, i just add a touch of super glue on the stitching that connects the toe and mid panel.
treads pretty damn good too, mine never really went bald.
the vulc wrap itself does wear a bit faster than most vulc shoes

How are they? Considering snagging a pair

Favourite shoes to skate besides TK Stacks.

Loved my pair of stacks, stuff just felt easy, crisp and clean with them. Not durable imo though.

Completely agree, I tend to superglue the stitching just to get the most out of them.

planning to skate them soon, they feel good, cannot say anything about their durability, but they don't seem as cheap as other lakai shoes.. Infact this is my first pair of lakai's since atleast 1 1/2 years

Vans Pacquard on the way, and a pretty good deal too. For Europeans at least, US is 15 pound delivery. On www.ss20.com

Just got these babies today. They are really, really, I mean really lightweight and the most flexible shoe right out of the box. Won't know how they'll skate for a while due to a bummed ankle, but the shoes seem pretty legit.

Nah, they look good, plus all airspeed models are rip-offs of other shoes. they've done a pseudo getz model, ed selego, vans, and even did tim o'connor savier rip-off.
