Went on a spree this week and bought this Bowie t-shirt:

And a jacket similar to this:

Mine's better quality than this and was only 40 quid. This wicked vintage shop near me is having a sale on leather.

Also bought a couple of Compulsive Gambler albums.

Been a good week.

After a couple years of saving/reading up I got my first Persian rug and am shopping another couple. This guy's a wool Kazak rug from Afganistan. 150 knots per sq. inch. If you're patient and know what you're looking for craigslist kicks ass.

Asus O!Play for $99 at Newegg.  With my 1TB esata hard drive hooked up, I have blu-ray rips galore playing in this mofo along with any skate video I've downloaded.  Too easy.

EricLogan - Despite them playing here twice in the past 2 years, I haven't seen them yet.  It's only on March 3rd but I can't wait.  Hope they cater to their fans and play more old than new.

friction! - rayban clubmasters

larry bertleman - I've gotten that a couple times so far, though I also received my 4th comparison to Robert Downey Jr. today.  I just wish work would let me grow a goatee so I really looked like him.

They played a tonnnn of old and even a few Mermaid Avenue tracks unless I'm mistaken

I'm not particularly bummed on their new stuff, but to me nothing of theirs beats their a ghost is born era shit. i'd be psyched if they for whatever reason decided to wander back into that experimental rock phase they were in.
