in theaters, No Country, and it was fucking epic.

on dvd, i finally saw Ocean's Eleven (2001) the other day and was pleasantly surprised.  i expected to hate it, but for the genre, it was quite entertaining.

a friend of mine lent me Battle Royale, but i haven't watched it yet.  anyone seen it?

yeah..it wasn't as horrible as people made it out to be. I HATED the editing though. And that little pudgy kid and his monkey were annoying as fuck.

It had a bunch of false endings. there were a few parts where i picked up all my things and started getting out of  my seat thinking the movie was over, and then it ended up going on for another hour.

I can see why it bombed though. Asking kids to sit in a theater for almost 3 hours is sorta asking a lot.

i just meant that movies on all the time and i alway end up watching it, sorry i just came off a 12 hour shift and my brains not functioning quite right.  memento was tight,  i haven't watched in a couple years, and the dark knights about the only thing i'm really looking forward to this summer.  wasn't too crazy about insomnia though.
