Moneyball was tight and you're mistaken of you think The Thing(2011) is a remake. It is a prequel and the last scene of the movie leads into the first scene of the Kurt Russell one, which makes it obvious that it is a prequel.

I assumed it would be on Hulu plus considering they profess to have "the complete criterion collection," but alas those bastards have ruined my night. I loved it. I didn't take it too seriously. It just oozed style, and I ate it up every scene. I thought the opening scene was so fucking badass, I was hooked no matter what happened. I still think Bronson is better, but Drive is probably more accessible for a lot of people. The world felt Tarantino-esque, without being a ripoff like the endless list that followed Pulp Fiction.

Not to make a big deal out of this or anything but Drive is literally nothing like anything Tarantino has ever made. I don't see why people always say this. Do you guys not watch that many movies or something? Nothing in that movie even vaguely resembles a Tarantino film.

went to a screening of this film RE-GENERATION tonight that was pretty good.  documentary about dj's.  i'm not even into any of that kind of music, but i really enjoyed the doc.  interesting film about the creative process, and an interesting project

all the dj's were there for a QandA after.  pretty cool.  not sure when it's getting released or what
