It was ok for $25 but everyone seemed like some amateur comedians. Yucko was a big dissapointment and you can see his style of jokes can't hold a crowd for long and Shulie wasn't as good as I thought he was, granted the crowd was super crazy and everyone was in heckle mode. And I hate Eirc the Midget too but when you see him in person, you somewhat feel sorry for the guy. I had no idea he wasn't all there since he seems more normal on the air. He looked bugged out the whole time even though the crowd loved him and Ronnie gave him the spotlight.

For those of you who cut your prints, what size borders do you usually make?  I need to find a good thickness that looks good.

I believe professional standard is 1/2 inch border all around, with the intention of putting the print in a matte and frame.

Small borders on big prints look weird.  Large borders on small images can look good, but can sometimes look wasteful and pretentious.

Personally I prefer top and sides to be the same dimension, with a larger border at the bottom for visual weight.

i havent really picked up my camera in 1 month i think. i am so stressed out because of uni, my life and other shit that i dont find any inspiration, not even for the crappy corny stuff i usually shoot.

this blog-entry of a good friend of mine on the other hand made me run out with my camera. i have no idea why, but i am so incredibly stunned by his use of light in this one.

here is the whole entry.

A couple weeks ago I covered a Gym Class Heroes concert. Not a big fan, but it was nice to shoot.

I just think it's a sick photo of my friend. He's just a crazy guy. Sort of a pile. His face is all fucked up in the photo because he had been hit by a car a few days before. Probably riding his bike drunk or something. I feel like his entire personality and fucked up life are all contained in that photo.

Also, thanks. I like that one too.

Dude, that is a fucking sick spot. Really would like to skate there.

Going to Gulf Shores on Sunday - hope to come back with some good stuff. What would you guys recommend in regard to consumer-grade wide angle lenses for Canon DSLRs, if any of you are using those? I'm really interested in getting one.

^^^The Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 is a good wide angle lens. You can find one on craigslist usually for about $550 or so. Good lens. Check out pics here:
