Has anyone shot with the 50mm canon lense? I'm thinking about getting it.

on APSC or FF/Film? i personally cant really get along with 50mm on apsc, dont know why. i guess i?m gonna try the canon 35mm/f2 since its cheap and i dont have much money.

i shoot with a canon f 1/8 50mm sometimes
its gives an awesome affect to videos(not skating) since the focus shifts so easily. the depth of field is wonderful especially for portraits cause people eat that "boca" shit up. I just dont think its wide enough to take out in the streets. I've read reviews where people say really the only lens you need but im not down standing 10ft away to get something in frame... the low light performance is awesome... for a like a small concert to shoot with no flash.

I love my Canon 50mm F1.8 lens
I shot this here at F1.8 at a 1/2500 shutter speed
Here's another example.
It can be a little tricky to get the focus right but when you do it pays off.

I mainly shoot 6x7 and keep them in sleeve pages. Sometimes I'm too lazy too put them in there and will just keep them in the sleeve that comes from the lab, these is usually if I don't think I'll do anything with the neg. I've been keeping them in old 11x14 paper boxes with the contact sheets, the boxes are labeled with the year/project.
This is a shitty way to organize, don't store yours this way. The best way I've seen is in a binder that closes on all sides with the contact sheet in a sleeve holder and the negs in a sleeve page behind it, very easy to flip through.
edit:
@Matze- Printfile sleeves (that's what I think you have in the pic) are acid-free so it should be archival for the long-term.
My name is Matt and I also shoot 6x7.

Funny you went here. This is the park notorious for gay guys to hook up and have a good time. We always try to shoot our 'product pages' for the local skateboard mag in and around the park to make them as gay as possible.
