Gonna drop avid for the first time at the beach on Wednesday. Question: How long does a trip usually last, since I have work later on the day.

Depends on the quality.

First time i did acid, it was dropped into marshmallows (they were pink and in foil) and i licked that off and i ate two fo them and did not get a very strong trip, but still mild effects for 5 to 6 hours.

The second time I did acid, my dealer dropped two drops onto my tongue (for free i might add! good dude), and for the first hour and half i just felt, odd. Not tripping or anything, but then a couple hours later I could tell I was tripping, things would change a little bit and my mind was running/couldnt stop my thought process for shit/couldnt sleep. I slept about 2 hours and then got back up and still felt mild effects..Overall,..I took the acid at about 8 30 PM ish, then woke back up from my 2 hours of sleep at 11:30 in the AM.

You should be fine at work, unnless you get some dank acid and trip balls.

got the call yesterday that I've won a brand new ?koda Citigo from and online poll (it's legit, carried out by the car distributor for Slovenia):

I've been trying to save up for a car for a while now (unsuccessfully) and now I get one that I should be pretty cheap to maintain. Getting it next Friday, probably.

Wow haha.  I would definitely wait man.  If you get good stuff you can feel the full effects for 4 hours and after effects for several hours more.  I'd do your research on erowid.org before taking it too.

My trip to florida with the missus was amazing, the weather was crazy, one minute it would be boiling hot then the next there was some crazy storm with warnings not to go outside etc.

Disney land was a bit horrible but she's always wanted to go, so we had to at least check it out. Universal studios was quality, so much stuff to do, and the attention to detail in each land was just amazing.
To my suprise everyone was suprising friendly, like they all cared how i was doing and what was going on, where here in the UK no-one cares how youre doing as long as theyre ok. Nice change to have a friendly environment.
The food was as i expected, huge portions, but actually really nice food aswell. Luckily our favourite place to get food was a bar near the hotel called the tilted kilt, which was a bit like hooters but instead of the hooters uniform it was the classic slutty schoolgirl outfit, score!
Generally just had a great time, escaping the boring day to day of work and spending time with just me and my girlfriend, no responsibilities!
i also noticed a more broad spectrum of wildlife, there were little crocodiles roaming around and geckos all over the place, nearly stepped on a big ass black snake on the first day. Makers me a bit sad that all ill see for a while now will be pigeons.

JAPAN! Made it to Japan for the first time, made it to FTC Tokyo, met cool people, skated the best park I've skated in years, and had an all around great day. Went to a Buddhist temple earlier in the day and got a bad fortune, but some lady there told me in broken English that if I left the fortune there, it wouldn't follow me. So I did, and it turned out to be an awesome day. Not that I'm superstitious, but, you best believe I did what she told me and it was a great day. Coincidence? Maybe, but it all worked out so I'll believe the lady.

TOKYO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is rad

Haha glad you enjoyed your trip...that's pretty much how I remember my trip to Orlando like 15 years ago....without the Tilted Kilt visits though.  That's kind of a newer chain they're everywhere now I guess.

This incredibly fun bank spot I found in the Philippines. It was so brutally hot out I got all Gershon Mosely on it...

and my girl says, verbatim: "Wooowwwww, for you it's crazy like!"

She's definitely a keeper.

Going to see Th' Legendary Shack Shakers tonight. Haven't seen them play in a long time. Hopefully they're as good as I remember.

I think this plumbing issue we've been having at my place for the past couple weeks has finally been resolved and was much easier and cheaper than expected. I also haven't been having any pain in my calf/knee/thigh since I stopped skating about a month ago and it's not sensitive to touch anymore so I think I'm going to try and hit up the skatepark for the first time in awhile and see how it goes. Small victories.
