had a super good sesh at the park tonight. got a bunch of the regular stuff i do there, some lines and stuff, and then settled in to trying this weird ollie over this hubba to tailslide on the other side for what seemed like an hour atleast. Finally got it. i was skating non stop the entire time we were there. and now I am dead, and content.

mixing mids with some kush in the backyard, then an ep of breaking bad and fluids.

Headed to a weeding next weekend in Maine, but spending this next week in Boston. I love big cities and have never been so I'm super pumped. If any Boston residents have some advice for the best things to do/not do, I'd kindly appreciate it. Unfortunately I won' have my board so just touristy stuff.
Oh yeah? Where at in Maine?

Thanks for the Uburger suggestion Carrolls Chesthairs and the wedding is in kennebunkport. I'm going to be in Portland for half a day or so as well.

It didnt really seem like an intimidating place at all, but that might have a lot to do with just being clueless  Smiley. I heard the gangs that control the drug-trades dont really bother regular people? The skaters there where really nice to let us sleep by the wonderland bowl for the last two nights.

Stoked on my 17 hours of sleep (although I feel confused as hell waking up in my own bed).

I could potentially transfer to Irvine, CA  (from Chicago suburbs).  The office would be smaller and relaxed and I wouldn't be around my bosses.  I don't know anyone there besides my ex who lives in LA (who still wants to fuck a lot)  and a decent buddy who lives in Riverside.  I spent a week in Costa Mesa before and it was tight but I was with my best friend and it was vacation so I had more fun than I probably will.

Possibly even better I could stay here and change my shift from 8-5 to 10-7.  That way I could live in the city without dealing with traffic and get to sleep in a bit.  Plus I'd be travelling out to LA every other month at least.  Either way is better than my current plan to sit in traffic for 90 minutes both ways to work.

My mom had a "Pawn Stars" type moment.  We have this rug in our dining room we always knew was nice.  It's from my great-grandmother.  My mom brought it to some place to get the edges touched up and get it cleaned.  The guy started freaking out.  According to him it's made by one of the most famous Persian rug makers.  It was made in Iran sometime between 1901 and 1910 and is in great condition.  He offered her $24k on the spot.  She declined.  The guy said, "Good idea.  Something like this should be passed down through the family."

I actually came in here to post about how psyched I am to be back home after spending the last 2-1/2 months in Maine. Such an awesome place, Portland in particular. If you want to eat somewhere weird, go to this joint called Wild Burgers and Burritos in downtown Portland. Awesome, cheap food and a fucking crazy atmosphere with a lot of aluminum foil and eerie silent cartoons. There's a good sausage restaurant (which sounds weird, but was real rad) downtown, as well, called the Thirsty Pig. There's a lot of cool stuff in Old Port, too, which is just the part of Portland down by the waterfront. I ended up going to three Portland Seadogs (a minor league baseball team for the Red Sox) games, and those were all super fun. You can also go to this place called Peak's Island via free ferry and rent bikes to ride around the island which has a lot of cool neighborhoods and whatnot (I never actually did this, but a lot of people I knew did and loved it). You can't really go wrong in Portland. Great city.

Except Mike is far from the snobby art type...In fact, all the artists I've talked to are super nice, Mike included.
I don't remember the exact details, but I remember him telling me about his skateboarding days with tilt mode.
He does a lot of art for skate companies.  I back his art, it's tight.

Someone just contacted me out of the blue and asked if they could use some of my work in a book called 'Seven Wonders of Typography'. This is the project they were interested in...
