Only 14 more days until I can skate again since I broke my foot. I haven't had a serious skate session since Jan 29. I haven't felt any pain in my foot in weeks so I really want to go skate now but I'm gonna wait just to be safe. On another note has anyone else had that sudden feeling of understanding a trick when not skating? I've been thinking about certain tricks I had been trying to learn before I broke my foot and now I feel like I understand them.

Yea its called being delusional, and temporarily forgetting bad habits. Everyone skates better after a week off, then all the pussy shit and the added difficulty of unforseen factors come into play and you can easily slip back into old habits, coming up with excuses as to why you can't do it. I have a tiny list of tricks at my local park, that I thought about constantly when I was travelling for 4 months. That was 4 years ago, still haven't done one and I probably never will.

Truthfully though I'm stoked that ^will be posting less once he starts skating again.

Nah with one or two tricks I swear I got that shit. Never thought I would have any "haters" on Slap though. Not sure why either. I'll probably post even more though because I'll have more stuff to talk about because I won't be sitting around the house all day.

Saw The Devil Makes Three last night, got to hanf out the band for about 2 hours afterwards, just sitting back and shooting shit. Before we left we asked for a group photo, and they said "of course, but you dont get a choice in how it looks, its gonna be a silly shot" It was super rad getting to sit around and hang out with a band that im super into. And they are all just stand up people.

too bad they didnt post a picture of the carpet job^^

i forgot but yesterday i saw a longboarder in downtown vancouver in the pouring rain. tried to do some slow as fuck "two feet on the nose" nose manual to cross the road, fell forward into the street, his board shot backwards and was run over by a limousine. didnt see if it broke but was one of the best things ive ever witnessed.

learned two new ledge tricks, made ground on two more. haven't learned something new in a while so that plus this weather is making me happy as fuck.

also finally got a video camera, albeit it is a flip cam (even got a lens for ~20 bucks) but fuck it. at least i got something now.
