Seeing the Melvins tomorrow night. Probably the first legitimate show I've been to, even though I live in Austin (Austin City Limits/SXSW is kind of whatever)

Spent a couple hours last night in a hot tub with a bottle of whiskey and champagne.

The North Face's warranty. About three years ago I was at a party thrown by some dude who worked for TNF. In the offices, not the store. It got super cold fast and he just started handing out TNF jackets. At the end of the night, he was like, "just keep them." I wore mine for the past three years, the zipper broke, and I sent it in for warranty. TNF responded, with "We don't make this item anymore, but here's a $300 gift card." Stoked.
Also- While I was on a business trip, my wife was bored, took aderal and painted a room in our house we've been meaning to paint forever. Se did a really good job.

So far, so good! Today was a yardwork day which I actually like, and now that it's starting to rain, I'm gonna go head out to buy some gift certificates for the people who are housesitting for us while we're in Italy.

For a European who has never been to Walmart...is Walmart really like this? Like place where blacks hang out and act all weird?
Just curious.

My brother-in-law called me earlier to tell me there is a opening at his job at a Medical Clinic near the local hospital. I put in my application earlier, its three dollars a more than I'm making and a full 40, I work full time, but lately been getting off an hour early each day, my pay sucks and I'm starting not to like people there. I bust my ass and they just sit there and have me do there work.

cool. there are some dope state camp sites out there. Look into the Lost Coast/Mattole Road. Ferndale, Honeydew, Richardson Grove. Pamplin Grove is a great camp site, right on the Vanduzen River, there are a few realllly old trees there too. It probably won't be as blown up as spots near the Avenue of the Giants either
