Exactly. My first year at my uni was such a bitch trying to find G.E classes that I need, rather than some electives just to have a full-time schedule.
Right now, I'm currently stoked on Kay Kay and his Weathered Underground.

Got the best haircut of my life today. Walked into this little corner shop, and inside is just wall to wall with old west antiques and a scatter shot of early mexican american stuff, americana, etc... Dude that runs the place alone (named Cliff) looks like Lemmy from Motorhead, but is maybe 5 feet tall. Offers me a beer as I wait for the guy in the chair ahead of me. Got a trim, and then dude surprises me with a straight razor shave for around my ears and back of the neck, lather and a little aftershave, used this weird old TimBurton'esque motorized massager thing attached to his hand to get all the kinks out of my neck and shoulders, and asks me if $15 seems like a fair price.
"Please sir, no less than 20. I wouldn't feel right paying you what I've paid at SuperCuts in the past."
a hearty handshake, and I was on my way.
Also came up on a pair of the Black Bobby Worrest eS jeans at Burlington Coat Factory for 20 bucks. They fit pretty good, and I figured it might be my last chance to find anything eS again.
And I'm going to see a Wrangler game (ECHL Hockey team here in Vegas) tonight with some buddies, and possibly some women-folk to try this new haircut on.
Edit: the women folk were nothing to write Slap about, these jeans however....well done Mr. Worrest...well done. oh and we (wranglers) won, 3 to nothing.

Finding gold at Thrift Stores always feel good, you just gotta a free hour or two to do it.
Right now, I'm pretty stoked that I get to see Thrice in Anaheim, which is this second to last show for a good while.

I had a good friend in high school that I still keep in touch with and he became a firefighter after dropping out of college and says that it's the most rewarding job he could've asked for

It's funny that he dropped out of college to become a fire fighter. This is what actually prompted me to go back to college. My local community college has a good fire science program.
