I'm not super into it, but I know that the hardcore graf dudes arent into the stencil shit. I think that falls more into the 'street art' folder.. like banksy and shit. He does some amazing stuff...





This conversation came up last night with a few of my graffiti friends. They were with you. After pushing some admitted that there is good street art with stencils, but none would say anything resembling respect for wheatpasters. "Its like putting some stupid sticker up, it ain't real shit."

99.9% of graffiti is unoriginal and generally sucks. I'd love to see a graff piece done in old english illumination. Like gothic style calligraphy with crazy metallic paint to suggest gold leafing and all kinds of crazy weird mythological creatures weaving in and out of the composition. Like those old maps that say 'here there be monsters'

99.9 percent of skateboarding is unoriginal and generally sucks. it's done for fun, period. people do it to get up, have fun and get the adrenaline rush when you're doing it and then when you're out in the street and walk by your name and no one knows you did it, it's awesome. shit's mad fun.

Not quite gothic style illumination but definitely fresh and Art Nouveau inspired...Inkie is the man, I love his stuff
