my homie did a chest piece one me 7 years ago when he was apprenticing. his hand was heavy and it didn't feel good, but it wasn't too bad. He re worked the entire piece this past summer and it was fine, my shin was far more intense. the chest is all quick bursts of bony pain. I just had some work done from hip to hip, like a reverse belly rocker. there are a ton of nerve endings down there and that shit hurt like a motherfucker. i'm pretty covered and this was the only time i've had to take more than one break in a sitting. good luck

we worked on my chest piece 2 days in a row ... first session were 5 hours, the second about 8. the last 2-3 hours were horrible, plain and simple. my tattoo artist always says that I really earned my eagle, haha.

Even though it's anti-racism, is it sketchy to have a klansman on my arm in the first place? Could it be seen as similar to that fucking idiot who got a swastika with a red line through it? Or am I being silly? I've always loved that graphic but it'll be my first real tattoo so I want it to be a good one.

Is it sketchy?  Nah, I don't think it is.  It will demand more of explanation than most tattoos, but that should be it.  Hope you get it, that's one of the best graphics ever.

banged this wave out a few months ago. it was an intense day. did the ankle, shin, foot work and also did a memorial script for my grandmother on my upper right rib cage. I don't usually get fucked up while getting tattooed, I like to take it in. I figure since it's going to be there until my skin turns to dust I might as well feel it all going into me. Anyways, that day I was on a nasty whisky hang over and ate some adderol. I had a blast sitting there.



i don't have a pic but my buddy did some script from hip to hip in 2007. It was a cheesy thing "let the lovin' take a hold." i'd gotten it to spite the girl who broke up with me. I'd go to the bar where we both kicked it, show girls, and get laid. It served the purpose. Either way, i decided to cover it up. We started the process a few weeks ago with a traditional style lotus opening in the area of the sacral chakra, some water, and smoke fading out to the hips. I sat for 2 hours and it's the worst time I've ever had. the nerve endings in that area are so fucking sensitive.

I've always liked that JT graphic.  The only sketchy thing about it on your arm could be if you happen to run into someone who is "pro-racism" at a bar or wherever.  They don't tend to be the most understanding people.  Just thought about this because I live in DC, but if you go an hour or two outside the city, it can get real southern real fast.
