there was a thread a couple months ago, i got the word from josh that as of now he isn't going to do one, at least on the same level as the other ones have been. he wants to do something smaller without the static name attached, but that might change (i hope). he has a lot of good footage that was originally going to start static 4, but it seems like plans have changed due to financials. go petition him to do it at his theoriesofatlantic site! i've been pushing him to do it a little, but the money matters are harsh, so...

if theres a way to make it happen im sure you can josh can. maybe some additional backing from outside sources/ riders sponsors. I know 100s of independent filmers who would give a hand to get something like this rolling....

The industry should organize a charity event where all profits go straight to the Static 4 project. Or Josh could give his Paypal accound, i'm sure lots of people would like to help him out donating some money.
