It would be rad to share some tastes in the electronic style?

Does anybody on here listen to / collect / like electronic music that much?

I personally am more well versed in disco/house/techno etc.... anybody else?

I searched it on google and all I really saw was something about some night in Paris or something that got posted on Resident Adviser?

Is it related to that do you think?

Yeah, I got a whole lotta weird stuff though. It seems nobody else here is into what I'm into when it comes to electronic, especially sergio.

What kind of things are you into? If its in the range of Vsnares or Planet µ / early Warp of that sort, I'm your dude...

well....

Metalheadz is a great label for old school Drum N Bass
Ed Rush, Dillinja, Goldie, Bizzy B, Remarc, all are great old stuff.
Plug is also great, it's a little different because it's Luke Vibert. It's a little weirder plus more breaks, but still great.

I hardly "follow" it but I know what I like.  I used to have a little DJ set I did with a friend of metal music, but we had an electronic/dance set too, because sometimes.... as he would say, you just need to make the bitches wiggle.

welll they are on a french label... and the lyrics dont make a ton of sense...

also i dont understand how anyone can be interested in venetian snares. that has got to be the worst fucking album i  have ever heard in my life. the one i bought was called something like mechanical spider taking apart itself in box or something like that. it sounds like mechanical robots taking over  your brain, its just a bunch, i dont see how anyone can chill and listen to that. i would cut my dick off.

i saw venetian snares live a couple years ago. the show was pretty crazy and i was somewhat psyched on it but i definitely wouldn't listen to it on an album.

Honestly I love that guy, and huge chrome cylinder box wasn't the a good 1st album to buy. He makes so much shit and they all have different things going for them, he can make something like "My Downfall" but he can still make a concept album about murdering children (Doll Doll Doll), hahaha. Listen to early stuff, he is brutal and morbid; approach it with a good sense of humor and its really fun to listen to. He is essentially kicking your ass through music, just see him live. If anybody hates him I could care less. You probably just don't get it or care to get it. whatever.

Help a brother out with some recommendations. I like stuff like:

Jan Jelinek/The Exposures
Prefuse 73 and other Scott Herren projects
Telefon Tel Aviv (Fahrenheit Fair Enough, at least)
I listen to this Ghostly Intl./Adult Swim compilation sometimes
