wade was on my list too but no one seems to know anything about him. i know that he is still doing his art (and recently had it featured at an exhibition in sydney) but that is about it. i remember seeing him at my local shopping mall back in like 2004-ish? and he did have a board. i wanted to run up and fan out on him but he isn't the most approachable guy and what the hell was i going to say to him anyways?

wade burkitt trivia: there is still a huge dent in the coping at kierle park in sydney from one of his monstrous ollie to 5-0 over the little hip. he used to tear that place apart. he also used to run a clothing company called 'PIST' back in the early 90's which featured a lot of his art. (the back right-hand corner of kierle park also had a huge PIST piece done on it for a few years)

Phil Mackie was sick, used to see him skating around the city on sundays plenty back in the mid 90's....
