Making a video is expensive and most companies really don't see much profits from them, I can't blame them for selling tickets. Not to mention how much it would cost to actually book a theater and music.

Yeah going to the theater and actually experiencing a film and getting immersed in its sound/music is so fucking dumb. I would much rather watch some asshole's handicam bootleg on my computer screen.

honestly, i don't like the movie going experience like i used to.  i rather sit back on the couch with a cold one and watch at my leisure.  to each his own.
i hear you on the handy cams though.  for comedies and stuff like that i don't mind bootlegs but if its a movie is filled with action/eye candy, i'll wait until a good copy gets released.

watching a skate video at the premiere is dope though because everyone goes crazy for the awesome tricks and it's the closest us skaters can get to the feeling that jocks get from going to football games haha

If you watch a handicam bootleg version of a movie you're a fucking idiot, every movie has a great quality counterpart download either the day it's released or weeks prior. I'm not disagreeing with going to see a movie, but piracy is on it's game.

Comedies are the worst to bootleg, there's always someone laughing and half the jokes get lost.

true, but nothing worse than watching a video and it's crickets during one dude's part. especially if the dude is at the premiere. shit is awkward, gives a really uncomfortable vibe.
