Cement truck falls through the roof of berrics offices

"The driver of a concrete mixer got more of a ride than he had bargained for on Saturday morning as his cab fell through a ramp leading to the roof of an Arts District warehouse.

The truck was left with its nose pointed straight into the air, and several cubic yards of concrete poured into the business below.

The driver was treated by paramedics and transported to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, but was described as having only minor injuries.

Officials from the city's Department of Building and Safety were called to supervise the truck's removal from the building at 1248 E. Palmetto."
