xlk is pretty stiff at first but breaks in really good within like an hour of skating
Oh my god fuck yea Lakai. I was sad when they discontinued the RHs but Ricks new shoe is fuck'n proper. And yea xlk just needs to be broken in (the most fun part of new shoes)

Is the XLK sole better than the Lakaightning sole? Or whatever was on the Jerichos? Because that sole was shitty.

Mine peeled off, had to send it in to Lakai to get a replacement pair, same thing happened to a replacement pair. Just never got another Lakaightning  after that

I'm skating a pair of the Manchester XLK Alvarez color I got for 30 bucks. Now that they're nice and broken in they've become my favorite skate shoes ever. I haven't had Lakais since the awful Telfords. I will be buying those white Lindens and maybe the new Rick, that sole looks cool.

All the new DC pro models seem to have the exact same manchester-esque shape, just slightly different side paneling and stitching.  *Excluding the new Kalis shoe

How does the toe look from the top?  I saw a pair of Coles at the local skate shop over the weekend and the toe is super round and bulbous,  like a fat bloated puck.
